The Hottest Devices at CES Are Cooler with Boingo WiFi
If there’s one sure bet in the tech world, it’s that the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be accompanied by a flurry of announcements for new netbooks and smartphones. Boingo Wireless, the world’s leading network of WiFi hotspots, suggests that the best devices get even better when coupled with access to more than 125,000 WiFi hotspots worldwide.

Netbooks and smartphones were two of tech’s fastest-growing product categories in 2009, and WiFi remains one of the most popular ways for mobile device owners to connect, thanks in part to the popularity of the iPhone.

Boingo provides owners of WiFi-enabled netbooks and smartphones with convenient, affordable options for staying connected at true broadband speeds, whether they’re traveling around town or around the world.

“By providing affordable, one-click access to high speed WiFi hotspots around the world, Boingo makes netbooks, smartphones and other mobile devices even more powerful and useful,” said Dawn Callahan, vice president of consumer marketing, Boingo Wireless. “Boingo continues to make the road warrior 'must have' lists for good reason, and we look forward to connecting the latest generation of WiFi devices announced at this year’s CES.”

* Boingo Unlimited provides all-you-can-use access to more than 28,000 hotspots in North and South America for less than $10 a month;

* Boingo Global gives world travelers a more affordable option for international WiFi services, charging $59 per month for 2,000 minutes of access to more than 125,000 hotspots around the world, an effective cost of less than $0.03/minute;

* Boingo Mobile is ideal for smartphone-toting globetrotters who need unlimited access to our hotspot network worldwide; it costs less than $8 a month (requires smart client software);

* Boingo Mobile Software is available for the iPod Touch and the most widely used smartphone platforms: Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Nokia eSeries, Nokia nSeries and Windows Mobile.
