Jim Caccavo / Founder and Managing Partner
Jim is a proven entrepreneur with deep operating and financial experience. Prior to forming Steelpoint, Jim was the Managing Director of Moore Capital Management’s Private Equity Group. Before joining Moore in 1999, he was president and CEO of Tickets.com. From 1988 to 1996, Jim was a founder and senior executive of Sullivan Communications, helping to build it into a leading graphic arts company. He operated several business units for Sullivan, including: software packaging and distribution; digital imaging; and a special effects business he founded. Jim began his career in finance at Merrill Lynch and GTE Corporation.
Jim holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton.

Adam Dell / Managing Director
Adam brings an extensive background in early-stage technology investing. In addition to Steelpoint, Adam is the Managing General Partner of Impact Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on information technology investments. Prior to founding Impact, he was a Partner with Crosspoint Venture Partners in Northern California and a Senior Associate with Enterprise Partners in Southern California. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Adam worked as a corporate attorney with Winstead Sechrest & Minick in Austin, Texas. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Santa Fe Institute and the Board of XO Communications. He also teaches a class on business, technology and innovation at the Business School at Columbia University.
Adam received a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.

Jim Sullivan / Managing Director
Jim has over 30 years of management experience in the communications industry. Most recently he served as Chairman & CEO of Printable Technologies a software company serving the corporate procurement and publishing markets. Prior to Printable, he was the founder, Chairman & CEO of Sullivan Communications, a $700 million graphic arts and promotional advertising company serving the retail, newspaper, magazine, book and software industries. Previously, he served as President & CEO of Maxwell Communications building that company from a startup to a $1 billion graphic arts and publishing company. Jim began his career with R. R. Donnelley & Sons in sales and rose through the ranks to become President of Donnelley’s Magazine and Book Groups.
Jim attended the University of Maryland and the Harvard University Advanced Management Program.

Scott Tierney / Managing Director
Scott has a diverse background as a hands-on operator leading growth stage companies and as a former investment banker working with clients on corporate defining transactions including IPOs, buyouts, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Steelpoint, Scott was President of Archimedes Technology Group, a nuclear waste remediation company which was sold to General Atomics. Scott was also a founding executive and the Head of Investment Banking for Epoch Partners, a boutique technology investment bank which was sold to Goldman Sachs in 2001. Before launching Epoch Partners, Scott worked for nine years at Morgan Stanley & Company in the Investment Banking Division in San Francisco and New York.
Scott holds an A.B. in Social Studies (Political Economics & Philosophy) from Harvard College (magna cum laude) and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Haas Fellow.

Charlie Kemper / Principal
Charlie is an experienced entrepreneur and investment professional. Prior to joining Steelpoint, Charlie was engaged as an advisor by several private equity firms and technology companies. Previously, he was a founding member of the Darby Technology Ventures Group, a venture capital group led by former U.S. Secretary of Treasury Nicholas Brady, Comcast, IBM, and Bechtel. Charlie has also held finance responsibilities for Product Development of the Explorer Vehicle Line within Ford Motor Company. Prior to Ford, he was Co-Founder and Managing Member of a new media consulting firm focusing on Internet design and ecommerce services. Previously, he has worked with Avalanche Systems (acquired by Razorfish) and Ameritech (now AT&T). He is a Founding Advisor to the Hispanic Alliance for Progress and an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at George Mason University.
Charlie holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.

Vishal Rawal / Associate
Vishal is an experienced financial analyst with a strong background in transaction analysis. Prior to joining Steelpoint Capital, Vishal worked in Citigroup's Internal Mergers & Acquisition group. During his tenure there he focused on both domestic and international principal acquisitions for the Corporate and Investment Bank. He was an active member of the team responsible for executing deals in various business segments such as Equities, Fixed Income and Municipals.
Vishal graduated cum laude from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance & International Business. In addition, he has passed all three levels of the CFA Program consecutively and will be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience.
Timothy Broadhead / Chief Financial Officer
Tim is a senior executive with strong financial and operating experience and has a successful track record with SMB’s. Prior to joining Steelpoint, Tim was the CFO and EVP of Operations for Personnel Concepts, a B2B direct marketing company that he helped grow into the industry leader which was later sold to Brady Corporation. Prior to Personnel Concepts, Tim spent the previous 5 years as the CFO of The Stichler Group, a privately held architecture and engineering services firm, and Tachyon, Inc., a privately held internet infrastructure start-up company created to deliver broadband internet access via satellite to the enterprise. Tim started his career in the beginning of 1994 at Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the world’s largest public accounting firms where he spent 6 years at various consultant levels including Manager.
Tim earned a B.S. in Business-Accounting from San Diego State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
